Gas Fitting

In the modern world systems operating with natural gas or propane are heavily regulated and gas fitting as a trade is also heavily regulated. A gas fitter has the important task of designing, sizing building and commissioning a gas system for use in accordance with manufacturers specifications and local gas codes. While the regulation can be arduous for gas fitters, it ultimately protects everyone and has made these systems completely safe. We install all types of gas systems and appliances including gas ranges, BBQ outlets, pool heaters, hot water heaters, furnaces/space heaters and boilers to name a few.

A common problem we are still currently seeing as the world looks to transition away from fossil fuels is that many other methods of heating do not have the same heating ability as gas does, and also the costs of equipment/utility billing have not caught up to the desire to go fossil fuel free. The good news is that gas appliances are incredibly efficient, and we are able to extract over 95% of the energy from the fuel in most cases. This still makes gas a good contender for construction/renovation needs.
